We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this Event Cinemas location. The big wide screen and the fact that it wasn't crowded made our movie experience even better. We were particularly impressed by the service provided by a gentleman with a beard who worked there, although we didn't catch his name. He went above and beyond to assist us. We visited around 1:40, and he finished his shift at 5pm on sept 19, 2023. We can't express how thankful we are for his exceptional service. It's worth noting that only a few staff members were as accommodating and helpful as he was. We hope you consider hiring more staff members like him in the future.
Service was ok and arcade was fun, finally time for our movie and everything was going so well until we stepped foot inside and had a whiff of a horrible smell. Smelt like the place had not been cleaned ever 🤣. Seats felt wet and moist and stank like wet socks 🤮. Had to put my popcorn under my nose the whole movie so I could avoid the smell the stank as air lol. Also don’t get the donuts (they suck)

The cinemas are clean and tidy there's also a time out for the kid's before or after the movie. Price's are a tad steep but justified. I suggest getting a cinebuzz rewards card, we were able to save $6 of the cost our tickets.Staff are a mixture of polite friendly and bored.. Medium Coke $6 Ice creams $6 expensive

Asked if we could have seats middle back row.
Not a problem as those seats were free.
Assigned seats on the day were second to back row, Isle ugh!

Nice and clean which is always important if you're gonna be sat somewhere for two hours. Good sound quality in cinema one. Prices were at a premium for tickets, ($23.00) for one adult and I did think $7.00 was a bit steep for one choctopped icecream.

Cinema needs a renovation top to bottom! Stains all over seats, disgusting and uncomfortable. Escalator so sticky, feet stuck to it, took the stairs just to avoid the escalator. Needs a deep clean and a refurbish, immediately.
Only 3 people (us 2 and another lady 2 rows away) in the theatre at 11.20am on a Tuesday to see "Cinebuzz $11 Movie of the Week" Oppenheimer in its 4th or 5th week. It was great. Good temperature even though it was a hot day outside.
